Denholtz Associates Welcomes Jersey Mike’s Subs to Clark Commercial Center with Ribbon Cutting

Clark, N.J. (July 31, 2018) – Denholtz Associates, a privately held, fully integrated real estate development, investment and management company, welcomed Jersey Mike’s Subs today to its brand-new 1,397 square feet retail space at the Clark Commercial Center in Clark, N.J. Executives from Denholtz Associates including CEO, Steven Denholtz and Senior Vice President, Leasing, Kristine B. Hurlbut, were joined by Clark Business Administrator John Laezza and Operating Partner Frank Jablonski and Operations Director Richie Maclachlan of Jersey Mike’s Subs for a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the store’s opening day. The chain’s newest central New Jersey location is part of Denholtz Associates’ brand-new 13,142-square-foot retail center located at 301 Central Avenue.

Started in 1956, Jersey Mike’s now has 1,500 restaurants open and under development nationwide. Jersey Mike’s was named the country’s fastest-growing Limited Service Chain and fastest-growing sandwich chain in the 2018 Nation’s Restaurant News Top 100. To celebrate the grand opening, the new restaurant is circulating 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Emmanuel Cancer Foundation. Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.

The Clark Commercial Center was acquired by Denholtz Associates and their joint venture partner, MB1 Capital Partners, in October of 2015. Shortly thereafter, construction began on a 13,142-square-foot retail center with Jersey Mike’s Subs being the first tenant to officially open. Additional tenants at the new retail center include Waxing the City, CKO Kickboxing, and Trinity Rehab which are slated to open this summer.

Comprised of 10 commercial buildings totaling 283,201 square feet, the Clark Commercial Center extends an entire block along Terminal Avenue in Clark, N.J., residing in one of New Jersey’s best demographic areas. The campus is located just off Exit 135 of the Garden State Parkway and a short distance from the New Jersey Turnpike, as well as strategically positioned within close-proximity to a wide-range of restaurants, banks, hotels and other suburban conveniences.
