We are actively recruiting for the following positions:

Maintenance Mechanic – Orlando, FL

Reporting to Property Manager, the individual will be responsible for daily maintenance of several commercial properties located in the Orlando area. The individual will assist the Senior Building Engineer in overseeing mechanical operations, mechanical systems, and tenant issues.  Responsibilities include responding to emergency service calls, troubleshooting, evaluating and making recommendations to repair, maintain and or upgrade maintenance operations and overseeing and inspecting the work performed by outside contractors.  The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.  Working with outside contractors and vendors, strong communication, computer skills and a can-do attitude are also needed.   A valid driver’s license is required.  Forward resume with salary requirements to: HR@denholtz.com

Senior Property Accountant – Red Bank, NJ

Working as part of our team of accountants, the candidate will be responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of multiple properties on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. The individual will work closely with Operational staff, other property accountants to facilitate the effective use of our cloud-based YARDI systems. Additionally, the person will assist and coordinate YARDI maintenance and system upgrades including setup of new properties and databases, report writing and analysis as necessary.

Specific accounting responsibilities include reconciliation of the property level general ledgers including routine accruals; daily reconciliation of cash accounts; budget variance analysis and assisting with budget preparation. Performs quarterly Cam reconciliations and assembles the necessary detail and back-up for the tenant’s use and assists in the preparation of management reports for investors and tenants.

The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and two or more years of relevant work experience. Five or more years of similar real estate property accounting experience may be substituted for educational requirements. The individual must possess strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as excellent communication skills. The candidate should be able to work independently as well as with others and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong computer skills with a strong emphasis on Excel and excellent attention to detail are also necessary. Familiarity with YARDI accounting software is a plus.
