Denholtz Associates Commissions Painting by Local Artist for its Office Building in Downtown Orlando, Fla.

Orlando, Fla. (November 22, 2016) – Denholtz Associates announces it has commissioned a painting by local artist, Arland Michael Simmons, to be featured as part of the extensive renovations of their 100 East Pine Street property in Orlando, Fla.

The painting, entitled Beach Day, is the sister painting to a smaller work named Miami Morning and is inspired by the morning sunrise view from the balcony of a hotel on Biscayne Bay. It will be prominently featured in the lobby of the 83,000-square-foot, six-story office building reminding visitors of the vibrant sunrises and sunsets that characterize the Sunshine State. Over the past several months, Denholtz Associates has embarked on significant renovations to the property including a new modern lobby and upgrades to the building’s common corridors and mechanical systems, which were just completed at the end of October. Plans are also underway for improvements to exterior features including a new office canopy, retail awnings, upgraded lighting, and a patio which are slated to be completed in early 2017. New elevators are also being installed and are set for completion in early 2017.

“Being active and engaged in our local communities is of vital importance to Denholtz Associates and is a focal point for all our investments,” said Lauren Hayes of Denholtz Associates. “This partnership with Arland Michael Simmons demonstrates this mission and our continued commitment to the local arts community in Orlando. We look forward to his painting being a highlight of our renovations of the 100 East Pine building for years to come.”

A native of Orlando, Simmons has also been an Orange County firefighter for twenty years. He will be unveiling a new collection at the 2016 SPECTRUM Miami Art Show from Nov. 30 – Dec. 4. More of his work can be found by visiting his website at www.arlandsimmons.com.
