Denholtz Associates Signs New Lease to Bring Healthy Meals Supreme Meal Delivery Service to Piscataway Corporate Center

Piscataway, N.J. (February 19, 2019) – Denholtz Associates announces a new lease for 19,358 square feet of industrial space with Healthy Meals Supreme at 147 Ethel Road West in Piscataway, N.J.

Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Healthy Meals Supreme Joe Martinez started his company after he and his father were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.  He discovered quickly that it was impossible to find quick, healthy, easily accessible meals that also tasted good.  So, he created a healthy eating plan and is now sharing his success with others by providing customers with customized, culinary medicine inspired, freshly prepared, ready-to-eat, home delivery meals.  Martinez has teamed up with executive chefs including a WACS global master chef, and an internationally respected endocrinologist to create culinary medicine inspired meal plans for a variety of nutritional interests, including for chronic conditions.

Healthy Meals Supreme has seen rapid growth in the past few months. The lease for the property located at 147 Ethel Road West is intended to enable Healthy Meals Supreme to properly scale its operation and enable it to successfully continue to provide the best product and service to customers in its initial service area in the Northeast. “We recognized the need for a space that was well-located, modern and adaptable to our needs. Denholtz Associates’ Piscataway Corporate Center and the industrial park at 147 Ethel Road West achieves both goals.  Working directly with their leasing team, we have seamlessly negotiated a lease at the property that will enable us to meet the growing demand,” said Martinez.

Located between Route 1 and I-287, Piscataway Corporate Center is nearby the Edison NJ Transit station and Rutgers University with proximity to an abundance of commuting highways.  In addition to superior accessibility, the 65,000-square-foot, two-building industrial park features 22’ ceilings, energy efficient HVAC systems, and ample parking. The flexibility and location will provide Healthy Meals Supreme with the ideal facility to increase its delivery capabilities and better serve its growing customer base.

“The continued growth of meal delivery services has placed even further strain on a limited supply of flex spaces in the central New Jersey market,” said Kristine B. Hurlbut, Senior Vice President of Leasing at Denholtz Associates. “Through our robust portfolio of flex spaces in the local market, we are able to provide companies with the space they need to allow them to grow their distribution networks to efficiently deliver their in-demand products to their customers.”

Jamie Zimmel of Zimmel Associates represented Denholtz Associates in the transaction.
