Denholtz Properties Taps Industry Veterans to Join Executive Team as Chief Investment Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Expanded executive team will guide the firm’s continued growth across New Jersey and Southeast

Denholtz Properties announces the hiring of David Bachstetter as Chief Investment Officer and Jenniffer Collins as Chief Financial Officer. Each bringing decades of real estate industry experience to their new roles, Bachstetter and Collins will further bolster Denholtz Properties’ executive team as the company continues to execute its growth strategy across New Jersey and the Southeast.

“We have always taken great pride in our company’s ability to blend the sophistication and capabilities of an institutional investment platform with an entrepreneurial approach that is backed by the firm’s agility, deep market knowledge, and attention to detail,” said Steven Denholtz, CEO of Denholtz Properties. “As we continue to execute our growth plans, we are confident that Dave and Jenniffer’s experience and leadership will enable us to build on this legacy and ensure we are positioned to continue to identify opportunities for value creation in the current market.”

Bachstetter brings nearly twenty years of commercial real estate advisory and operator experience to his new role with Denholtz Properties. Leveraging his strategic and analytical mindsight, Bachstetter will work closely with President Stephen Cassidy and Denholtz Properties’ acquisitions, development and finance teams to identify opportunities to increase efficiency and profitability throughout the company’s investment platform as it continues the significant growth of its multimillion-square-foot investment portfolio.

Bachstetter’s addition comes amidst the company’s recent launch of a joint venture partnership with an affiliate of an institutional investment management firm that seeks to acquire over $1 billion in multitenant industrial projects strategically located in densely populated high-growth infill areas. As the company aggressively bolsters its existing presence and charts its entrance into several new markets across the region, Bachstetter’s data-driven approach and keen understanding of real estate finance and investment will make him an invaluable member of the Denholtz Properties executive team.

Prior to joining Denholtz Properties, Bachstetter served as Vice President and Treasurer for Hovnanian Enterprises, one of the nation’s largest homebuilders. Before joining Hovnanian Enterprises, Bachstetter also served as Investment Banking Vice President – Real Estate for Barclays Capital.

Joining Bachstetter on the executive team, Collins will lean on her three-decade-long career in real estate financial management in her new position as CFO. Collins will focus on maximizing efficiency across the organization through the streamlining of internal processes and identifying novel applications of the latest financial technologies. Leveraging an extensive background in business intelligence, budgeting, forecasting, and strategy, Collins will work closely with the firm’s executive team to provide the real-time, actionable financial insights needed to make data-driven investment decisions.

Prior to joining Denholtz Properties, Collins has held the CFO, VP of Finance and Corporate Controller positions for several public companies, including the VP-Controller position at The Lightstone Group, for their Lightstone Value Plus REIT, Inc. and Lightstone Value Plus REIT II, Inc.   Collins has also served as a Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee for Manasquan Bank since 2017.
