Lansing Melbourne Group (LMG) and Denholtz Properties announce they have signed a lease with Salon Lofts for 4,757 square feet of retail space at Novi Rise, a 167-unit mixed-use community located at 30 Market Street South in downtown Concord, N.C., scheduled for completion in mid-2024.

Salon Lofts is an innovative salon suites rental concept that provides elegant spaces, business tools, and support to beauty industry professionals across the United States. With more than 260 locations nationwide, each Salon Lofts site is meticulously operated to the highest standards within the growing salon suites niche. Salon Lofts plans to open its location at Novi Rise later this year.

Part of the Novi portfolio—a joint venture partnership between Denholtz Properties and LMG—Novi Rise is a seven-story mixed-use community featuring 167 luxury residential units and 4,757 square feet of retail space. With pre-leasing scheduled to begin in Q2 2024, Novi Rise will join Novi Flats, a 48-unit mixed-use community completed in June 2023, and Novi Lofts, an 89-unit mixed-use building scheduled for completion later in 2024.

The three buildings that make up the Novi portfolio are the first mid-rise developments of their kind in downtown Concord, underscoring the success of the town’s ongoing multi-billion-dollar revitalization spearheaded by the Concord City Commissioners and the Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation. This transformation is highlighted by the reimagining of the former Philip Morris plant into The Grounds at Concord, a 2,000-acre site soon to be anchored by a $2B Eli Lilly pharmaceutical plant and a $1B Red Bull manufacturing facility. Just a few blocks from Novi Rise, the renovation and expansion of the Cabarrus County Courthouse will further enhance the area, making it one of the most desirable places to live in North Carolina.
