Batter Up: Lansing Melbourne Group and Denholtz Properties Welcome Residents to Stadium Lofts in Kannapolis, N.C.

Lansing Melbourne Group (LMG), a boutique developer specializing in public-private partnerships, and Denholtz Properties announce the completion of Stadium Lofts, a 43-unit boutique mixed-use community located at 120 West Ave, Kannapolis, N.C.

Developed by a joint venture of Temerity Baseball and LMG, and managed by Denholtz Properties, Stadium Lofts boasts a prime location with views of Atrium Health Ballpark, the home of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers, the Single-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, in downtown Kannapolis. The strategic placement of the community provides residents with a front-row seat to not only the ballpark but also downtown Kannapolis’ growing lineup of shopping, food, and entertainment destinations. The building is also within walking distance of the North Carolina Research Campus, a $1 billion, 350-acre life sciences campus occupied by eight university research programs working on cutting-edge health sciences.

Designed by the renowned architect Built Form and constructed under the expertise of Summit Design + Build, each residence at Stadium Lofts features upscale finishes, including white quartz countertops, double-stacked designer cabinetry, luxury roller shades, black designer light fixtures, marble kitchen backsplashes, GE Premium Collection stainless steel appliances, and GE front-loading washers and dryers.

The building is also designed with today’s tech-savvy renters in mind with ultra-fast gigabit internet, Harmony illuminated bathroom mirrors, USB outlets, Yale keyless entry, Google Nest thermostats, and Brivo video guest access. Select units come equipped with Samsung Smart TVs and extended Google Home technology.

“Stadium Lofts exemplifies our innovative approach to development, centered on fostering a sense of place within our local community and careful attention to offering multiple types of product in Kannapolis to bring new residents and prevent cannibalizing our existing buildings,” said Peter Flotz, Founder and CEO of LMG. “It is a tremendous honor to contribute to Kannapolis’ ongoing transformation into a vibrant live-work-play destination with the completion of this project.”

Stephen Cassidy, President of Denholtz Properties added, “LMG’s work to bring Stadium Lofts to life speaks to the creativity and vision that continue to make them one of the region’s most impactful developers. We are excited to build on their success and utilize our extensive in-house expertise to provide a superior living experience in one of North Carolina’s most vibrant towns.”

Denholtz Properties’ management of Stadium Lofts builds upon the firm’s growing presence in the Charlotte MSA. In 2021, the firm acquired Vida Apartments, a 289-unit luxury multifamily community just steps away from Stadium Lofts, from LMG. Beyond Kannapolis, a joint venture partnership of Denholtz Properties and LMG are nearing the final stages of construction on the three-building Novi mixed-use portfolio in nearby Concord, N.C.
