Denholtz Properties announces it has negotiated 58,864 square feet of leases across its Tampa and Orlando portfolio of office and multitenant industrial properties
Highlighting the recent leasing activity is a 23,670-square-foot lease with the Children’s Network of Hillsborough at Sweetwater Business Center, a 225,651-square-foot office/flex portfolio located at 5455-5557 West Waters Avenue in Tampa, Fla. Less than ten miles away, the company also negotiated a 13,874-square-foot lease renewal and expansion with Halff Associates, Inc., an engineering and architecture consulting firm, at The Times Building, a ten-story, 180,000-square-foot office building located at 1000 N. Ashley Avenue in Tampa, Fla.
In addition to robust leasing activity in Tampa, Denholtz Properties also welcomed two new tenants to its Orlando portfolio. JDTeck, a telecommunications equipment supplier, will be relocating from another office in Orlando to a 10,620-square-foot space at Denholtz Properties’ Celebration Business Center, a two-building, 106,068-square-foot office property at 1120 and 1130 Celebration Blvd. in Celebration, Fla. acquired by Denholtz Properties in 2021. The lease brings the property to 100 percent occupancy.
JDTeck will be joined in Orlando by Cook & Boardman Group, the nation’s leading distributor of commercial doors, frames and hardware, that will lease 10,800 square feet at the company’s Silver Star Commerce Center, an eight-building, 254,915-square-foot industrial flex portfolio located at 3702 Silver Star Road.
“The Southeast and Northeast commercial real estate markets differ in many respects. Despite the contrasts, we have seen a consistent flight-to-quality from tenants in both markets over the last several years,” said Jordan Wean Director of Leasing and Business Development for Denholtz Properties. “Through our focus on proactive capital improvements and hands-on property management, we have created the quality experience that today’s tenants are searching for and we are excited to carry our leasing momentum from 2022 into 2023.”
