Orlando, Fla. (March 1, 2018) – Denholtz Associates announces that Woodrow Orlando LLC, doing business as The Great Escape Room, has signed a lease for 8,742 square feet of space at their newly renovated office/retail building at 100 East Pine Street in downtown Orlando, Fla.
With a range of locations spanning across the United States, The Great Escape Room is a popular Sherlock-themed, puzzle-solving and scavenger hunt attraction in which a group of participants must work together to break out of a space within an allotted time. The tenant will utilize the 8,742-square-foot space at 100 East Pine Street to open their second Orlando escape room location.
100 East Pine Street is an approximately 80,000 square foot, six-story office/retail building located in the heart of downtown Orlando. Since acquiring the building, Denholtz Associates has completed significant improvements including a complete renovation of the lobby, reconfiguration and upgrade of the building’s common corridors and restrooms, full elevator modernization, and improvements to its mechanical systems. Other improvements to the exterior including new awnings, painting of the exterior, and lighting are set to be completed by the end of 1Q 2018.
Residing at the intersection of East Pine Street and South Magnolia Avenue, the building boasts high visibility and frontage on two of Orlando’s busiest thoroughfares, and is located among a plethora of retail, lodging, and public transportation options, all within short walking distance. Additionally, the area boasts significant pedestrian traffic, with the Dr. Philips Center for the Performing Arts located just two blocks south of the property.
“Since acquiring the property in 2016, we’ve continuously sought to make improvements to the space that will attract a wide-variety of tenants and maintain high occupancy,” said Kristine Hurlbut, Senior Vice President of Leasing at Denholtz Associates. “Our lease with The Great Escape Room speaks to the success of this improvement strategy and enables us to add a unique amenity to the building that will provide tenants and visitors with an exciting after-work destination. We are honored to be able to contribute to the continued development of Downtown Orlando and help make it such a great place to live, work and play.”
