Ashley Avenue in Tampa, Fla. The 3,147-square-foot expansion of their current lease will bring their total space at the Times Building to 12,322 square feet.
Dewberry regularly works with a wide variety of public- and private-sector clients to help deliver solutions to the most challenging design and planning projects. With 2,000 employees at 50 locations in 18 states across the nation, Dewberry is one of the nation’s leading market-facing consulting firms with an annual revenue of $406 million in 2017. The Times Building is a ten story, 180,000-square-foot office building that is one of the most recognizable buildings in the downtown Tampa area. Located across the street from the Straz Performing Arts Center, the building is an important fixture in the resurgent Tampa Cultural Arts District. The property also offers easy access to I-275, the main highway connecting the Tampa region, as well as Tampa International Airport.
Last year, Denholtz Associates completed a year-long $1.5 million renovation project at the building that included a complete lobby renovation, new restrooms, the addition of a new fitness center and a café operated by Inside the Box Catering to ensure the building will remain a focal point of downtown Tampa.
“Since we acquired 1000 N. Ashley, we have sought to create the in-demand, centrally located office space that would attract and retain both Tampa’s growing small businesses and national firms,” said Kristine B. Hurlbut, Senior Vice President of Leasing at Denholtz Associates. “The wide variety of tenants currently leasing at 1000 N. Ashley and the property’s high levels of tenant retention and expansion shows that we have accomplished that goal. We look forward to continuing to offer local and national businesses the modern, accessible and flexible home they are seeking while adhering to a commitment to superior tenant service.”
